Once you find a flight school that suits your needs, the next step is to apply. The application process itself varies by flight school. Generally this process is as simple as filling out a form and providing photo identification. You will probably be asked for a copy of a passport, High school diploma, English language proficiency, as well as any pilot certificates or pilot training documents you may already have. You should also know that acquiring a visa and background check can take some time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Type rating on a current aircraft
  • Valid CPL or ATPL
  • Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Last flight within 12 months
  • Minimum 500 hours on type
  • English level 4 according to ICAO requirements
  • No history of incidents or accidents
  • No criminal history
